Introduction

The American Supply Chain Summit celebrated a major milestone in 2026—its 10th anniversary! Over the course of two days in Dallas, hundreds of supply chain leaders, innovators, and solution providers came together to reflect on a decade of industry evolution while exploring the challenges and opportunities shaping the future.

Through insightful keynotes, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, and countless networking conversations, attendees exchanged ideas on resilience, digital transformation, procurement, logistics, and operational excellence. As the summit marked ten years of connecting the industry's brightest minds, it once again proved why it remains one of the premier gatherings for supply chain leadership and innovation.

Guiding the discussions throughout the 10th anniversary of this summit were this year’s emcees:

Day 1 Highlights

Day 1 of the 10th Annual American Supply Chain Summit began with an incredible keynote session led by Arun Krishnan, SVP, Global Supply Chain and Strategy @ AstraZeneca, who opened a discussion around leveraging AI to optimize global end-to-end supply chain performance. This was followed by a compelling plenary session from Sarah Vercammen, EVP, Global Planning and Customer Excellence @ GE HealthCare, who explored how organizations can build greater resilience through effective change management and digitalization. Her insights resonated strongly with attendees, setting the tone for the day and inspiring supply chain leaders to rethink how they approach change in an increasingly complex and fast-moving environment.

From there, Derrick Travers, SVP, E-Commerce Sales and Business Development @ Deliver Direct, took the stage to host a plenary on how alternative delivery networks are redefining speed, cost, and control. A mid-morning break offered attendees time to recharge, meet new peers, and join pre-scheduled 1-2-1 meetings—a highlight for many who arrived with specific challenges, partnership goals, or product development questions in mind.

 

 

Following a lively networking break, the summit transitioned into stream-focused sessions bringing attendees deeper into the real-world strategies driving supply chain transformation across industries. Jason Ballard, VP, Supply Chain Digital Innovations @ Toyota Motor North America, shared how Toyota is strengthening resilience through supplier collaboration, predictive analytics, and the evolution of just-in-time principles. In a fireside chat, Miten Champaneri, VP, Critical Communications Supply Chain @ Motorola Solutions, joined Scott Luton, Founder and CEO of Supply Chain Now, to discuss the importance of cross-functional partnerships and effective communication in driving scalable growth. Sarah Hill, VP, Procurement, Americas and Manufacturing at BP, explored how procurement leaders are adapting to geopolitical shifts, advancing digital capabilities, and building more resilient supplier ecosystems. Meanwhile, Steve Radewych, SVP, Supply Chain Operations at Spin Master, highlighted the transformative power of data, ERP systems, and automation in creating future-ready operations. Rounding out the track sessions, Sergio Villar, VP, Fulfillment at Target, offered insights into the evolving world of retail fulfillment, showcasing how data, collaboration, and omnichannel execution are enabling faster, more efficient customer experiences.

Engaging workshop sessions were the perfect next stop for attendees to put those learnings into action! We had the pleasure of hearing the perspectives of leaders from Fixefy, ChainLink SRM, GPA Logistics Group, Applied Value Group, and Bluecrux

As the morning sessions gave way to lunch, the energy shifted into a more intimate and conversational setting. Over the Lunch & Learn roundtables, attendees gathered for focused discussions, exchanging ideas and real-world challenges with peers across the industry. Conversations were shaped by insights from organizations including Weida Freight System, Karolium, CN, Integrity Staffing Solutions, ITS Logistics, GPA Logistics Group, Kardex, Vooban, Basic 3PL, TGW Logistics Group, Vector, Pecan AI, Loadsmart, Loop, ShipStation, Emerge, Deliver Direct, Powerfleet, Express Employment Professionals, GXO Logistics, Incorta, LJM, Virginia Economic Development Program and The Port of Virginia, Descartes Systems Group, and o9 Solutions.

 


Further valuable learning followed, where sessions were split across five rooms. In Room 1, Joanna Kostecka, CVP, Global Cloud Supply Chain Planning @ Microsoft, explored the intersection of AI growth, forecasting, and workforce development, emphasizing the importance of building the talent and planning capabilities needed for tomorrow's supply chains. R. Steve Tungate, VP, GM Americas, Service, Supply Chain and Innovation @ Toshiba America Business Solutions, shared practical lessons on maintaining continuity and agility in the face of disruption through technology and data-driven decision-making. In a fireside chat, Sajid Kunnummal, SVP and Chief Procurement Officer @ BD, joined Luis Eraña, CEO of Alba Group, to discuss how digital transformation is reshaping procurement and creating measurable business value. Meanwhile, across the hall, Lakshman Lakshmanan, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Fossil Group, and Mark Heinrich, President of r4 Federal at r4 Technologies, examined how integrated networks, operational excellence, and cost transformation can support resilient global supply chains. Closing out the breakout sessions, Fabiano Lopes, VP, Cost Management and Indirect Procurement at Cardinal Health, highlighted strategies for driving procurement transformation through optimized operating models, automation, and enterprise-wide value creation.

The final slew of workshops for the day featured insights from Project44, Elemica, Freehand, LiquiDonate, and Vooban, providing attendees with invaluable lessons to bring back to their teams. After the PM sessions and workshops, attendees filled the expo hall yet again for our next networking break. This consisted of exploring booths and attending 1-2-1 meetings, all while enjoying the open bar Happy Hour, sponsored by Incorta.

Conversations flowed from the expo hall into Room 1, where Massimo Sapone, SVP, Distribution Planning and Logistics North America @ EssilorLuxottica led a powerful plenary on implementing smart warehousing to accelerate fulfillment, improve accuracy and eliminate waste. Shan Mathuvelu, President @ Karolium carried the momentum, sparking conversations around supply chain transformation with another engaging plenary. 

 

 

We finished Day 1 off strong with a powerhouse panel moderated by Jim Hilbert (Chief Revenue Officer @ Freedhand), where he guided the discussion on challenges and strategies defining the next years in the supply chain industry. We had the privilege to hear from:

After a few closing remarks, attendees were reunited once again in the expo hall for a well deserved end-of-day-1 networking drinks reception sponsored by Aris.

 

Day 2 Highlights

Good morning to Day 2! No such thing as too early for networking. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, our early bird attendees were given the exclusive opportunity to participate in our intimate Breakfast Briefs led by Elemica, Trax Tecs, Sunstice, SAP America, Revenova, Allserv, and Vantive Technology

While conversations were buzzing in the expo hall, even more buzz filled Room 1, with the Women in Leadership panel kicking off day 2, honourable speakers include:

The rest of the morning was filled with fantastic keynote and plenary speakers, including Matthias Huelsmann (SVP, E2E Logistics @ Bosch), Alexander Gregorian (SVP, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing @ Estée Lauder Companies Inc.) and Eric Spadafora (SVP, Sales, Americas and Asia Pacific @ GXO Logistics). What an honour it was to hear from these revered leaders in the industry!

 

 

An AFMS-sponsored coffee and networking break took place in the expo hall, before we switched into action mode with workshops from Vantive Technology, ARIS USA, LJM, Mined XAI, and American Industries

Transitioning from workshops to sessions was seamless, especially with the stacked line-up of speakers spanning from companies involved in aerospace, food, chemicals, and everything in between! Sessions were hosted by these thought leaders:

The final workshops of the day took over Rooms 1-5 where speakers from HachiAI, GAINS, SAP America and Trax Technologies captivated attendees with the hottest topics and latest lessons learned in each respective company.

Roundtable discussions took a pause when speakers from Basic 3PL and Soapbox took the stage to host a plenary session on why faster supply chains are creating bigger bottlenecks, where they identified misalignment across inventory, freight, and tariff decisions.

The final day of the 10th Annual American Supply Chain Summit wrapped up with one final panel discussing the future talent of supply chain leaders, a strong and sensible note to leave on as we enjoyed the final moments of the summit. Leaders navigating the discussion on talent shortage included:
